vBulletin Ladder Bracket / Tournament

I haven't seen this yet... anywhere... so here it goes.

There are a lot of websites with competition and a ladder is a must. The site that I am going to use as an example is www.GameBattles.com. The ladders on the site are completely custom made by the owner, but it's got the same idea. Having a built-in ladder system would be one of the best hacks ever made.

Allow for clans, single player, game selections, wins/losses, matches (agree to, decline, etc), rankings, activity, etc. Run through GameBattles' ladder system to see how it's all setup. Then a tournament would be nice as well.

I know there are a lot of sites that would absolutely kill for a hack like this. Hell, I'd even make a hefty donation to the creator(s) of this hack.

Let me know what everyone thinks. I know this would be a difficult one to make, but I know it'd be well worth it.

I think it's a great idea, as me and a friend are looking to start a ladder.

I have script and I have VB, are you skilled enough to try to integrate them? I am willing to pay. Some scipt changes need to be made.

The Ladder discussion caught my eye..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have purchased a php mysql gaming ladder and tournament script recently and am not pleased with it. It uses a ranking system of slots instead of points. I want a point system, designed to discourage challenging way lower ranked teams by the reduction of points won . And vice versa. This system does not use VB, however I do own VB on the site as well. What I want is to integrate the two visually with GUI as well as scriptwise. I want left and right columns for affiliate advertising, 3 or 4 team of the month rotating views to change photos by selection and text by input. Integrated "Briefing" chat room for players to meet and setup matches on the site instead of having to use AIM!! I do want aim and yahoo and msn left integrated thougth,(present already).
The challenge system needs to be modified so that it does not give forfeit matches.
I want challenges to be made, canceled, accepted or declined. NOT discussed through challenge details.
I want site generated maps if challenger checks that radio button, or no maps suggested if challenger checks no maps button.
I want selected "x" "y" or "z"graphic to appear behind text lines in "x""y" or "z" catagories. I can help with the graphics but am a php idiot!
There are a lot of things I like about the script I have, but a lot I don't.
I would be willing to pay decently for the work.
If anybody is interested let me know.
