Hi all

Here is my next hack for vb.
Its a jokes addon and you can have categorys to put your jokes in and
then click the link to that joke.
Or you can use the search to search for a joke.
And last you can add a joke but it will not show till the admin has approved the joke.

But i have one problem if any one can help.
I need a way to do a LIMIT to view pages.

usergroup permission.

This is what i need to sort out.

Say i have 100 jokes in a category and i want to show 10 per game.

How do i make the page numbers up to show the other pages.

I know about the sql LIMIT 0,10 but i need to sort that out.
If you know how please help

I think you can either check for the way vb dev team has built vbulletin or exsiting hacks that use $pagenav.

Hi thanks for your help on this but i have sorted it and got it working.

This hack will be ready soon.

Some of the things this will be able to do are.

User area

vbjokes main page
categorys
search
add a joke

The main page is just that a main page.

Categorys
Here you will be able to view the categorys to all the jokes.
clicking one of the categorys will take you to the jokes in that category.

Jokes List
When you have clicked a category you will see a list of the jokes for that category. The jokes will be listed like so Joke ID, Joke Name, Joke Image, Submiter and view joke in a Popup.

Viewing a Joke
When viewing a joke you will see the name of the joke the submiter total hits the jokw image and the joke its self. You will be able to click the image in the joke view to see the inlarged picture.

Viewing Joke in Popup
Much the same as the view a joke but there less on the screen.
You will see the joke name submiter and the joke and image.
But you will not see the rest of the forum.

Admin Area

Vbjokes setting

This is to turn the vbjokes on and off.

Approve new jokes
This is when your members add a new joke it will not show to all members till the admin approves the joke for public view.

View Edit Jokes
Here you will be able to view the joke ID joke name Joke image.
I have not added the view of the joke on the admin screen as the list would be very long.

View categorys
Here you can view edit or delete the categorys you have.

Add category
This is for adding new categorys to your vbjokes.
