Forum Log-In Outside of the Forum

Hmm, I thought I saw this somewhere but I can't find it. If you could find it/write one then I would be very greatful :)

Like my forums are just added in addition to my site, so on the sidebar of my site I want a forum log-in. If you enter your details there, then it would automatically log you into the forums and redirect you there or something like that.
