Monitor Trouble

I'm relegated to my Laptop which is running low on Power (can't find charger) since my Monitor's power supply decided to die on me when I came back and tried to turn on my Computer -.-

Hopefully I'm getting a new Monitor in the next few days but if anyone can suggest where I can possibly find a site selling 2-3 year old flatscreen monitor power supply's that would be good :D

I'll post up the specs of the power supply itself if I can find where my dad put the power supply that busted...

It's a C&C Tech Power Supply...

Model: CE92HM
Input: 100-240V~1A
50-60Hz
Output: 12V - 2A
5V - 2A

Can anyone help? :)

I've looked but most places appear to be no longer selling them :(

You could use any other PSU that has the same specs.

If you're lucky and don't value your system too much, you can find an AC adapter with the exact same specifications (specifically the output voltage and amperage, but also the same polarity). Or eBay but you'll get screwed on the price probably.

I've taken a look about seeing if I can rape another PSU from one of the many computers lurking about but can't find anything remotely like the PSU for my Monitor :(

I'm gonna go annoy dad and ask if I can borrow his monitor for the time being but I need a permanent solution :(

Temporary - Come and share mine!

Permanent - Buy a new one!

Temporary - Too far away :p

Permanent - No money to buy one :(

Can't say I didn't try though.

What about you have mine and I get a new one?

What's yours? :p

Compaq v700

It's a bit of a jalloppy really but it works. It's only a baby 15" though.
