IP Look Up

When I put a new members ip into the admin section to look up to see if there is anyone else with that IP its not bringing up anything for that ip including the person that has just registered (they have used the exact ip to register with that I put in)

Anyone else had this problem?

There are 2 seperate search fields for registration and post IP.

So where do I go to check on IPs to see if others are registered with the same for example
