custom $post data in PMs

No matter what I try, it seems that any userfields I add above the default to the user table that I can call on in the postbit for showthread with like

$post[newfieldname]

Come up blank in PMs.

Anyone have any clue why? or how I can fix it? even if it requires a file edit.

It's got me stumped and driving me nutz heheeh.

Hmm ... it should have all fields from the user table.
