could such a plugin exist were it displays the towns entered in by the users on the google earth globe as locations/signpost markers?

Their images are way out of date, I just downloaded the regular version and I can clearly see my area is using images at least 4 years old, probably getting more towards 5 years old. They say its all within 3 years but I utterly refute the claim. :)
