Upgrading

Im on 3.8 at the moment. If I upgrade to 3.5 whats the best way to do it as at the moment I have a lot of mods on my site? Will it mean that none of these work or should I do a fresh install and move across my database???

Just install 3.5 over 3.08. You will lose your mods but nothing will happen to your database.
