lock border and quote problems
 

hi everyone i have two problems i need help with:

1. is it possible to lock the border of my template so that when the user posts a huge image, my template won't run?

this shows the template out of alignment:

2. previously my quotes bbcode was not edited, now it uses images for quotes but the old post does not reflect it. how can i make it such that all the quotes bbcodes reflect the new template?

in this screenshot, you'll see 3 different types of quotes appearing at the same time. the posts made at different times before and after the quotes bbcode template was edited, appear differently. i want the last one with images to be reflected in all quotes... is it possible?
