Idea's for a new forum

Of course i'd use the lovely vBulletin software, but what kind of forum would be a good one to start.

Automotive forums already over ran
Adult forum, would be to much work to regulate i think
An Nice OffTopic forum would be nice, but i can't think of any cool names.

Anyone have any suggestions

I am also trying to open a new site as well, but I believe I will go with the ever popular gaming site because..well.its what I love :p.

Honestly if you have no intrest in the subject your forum covers it's doomed to fail. You should build a site/forum on the subject of something you enjoy doing, if that subject is covered well already then start looking into the 'sub-subjects'.

For example I enjoy playing video games, but that topic is fairly covered already. So I might open a site dedicated to old Atari games instead.

You don't necessarily have to love what your forum is about. But you have to be dedicated to it to make it work. My new site is depressing as hell, but it is something I am going though and I want to make sure no one else in my sistuation has to go through it alone, like I did. If that makes any sense. ;)

Your new site is great, keep it up. If you ever decide to give it up I hope you will pass it on to someone worthy of running it.

You're just being kind, but thanks for the vote of confidence. It still has a long way to go but I'm getting there, day by day. I suppose eventually advertising it might even help, huh? ;)

@Tyler - It's a Fathers' Rights Site, which there seems to be very little of in most places. An educational site for things you need to know about your rights as a Father.

You know I'm not 'just begin kind'. The topic is one that needs to be discussed and addressed, and until I start seeing some 'Dead beat mom' posters next to the 'Dead beat dad' posters I consider the issue un-resolved. :)

There are plenty of the Dead Beat Moms out there but society refuses to look at them for what they are. It's fairly equal on both sides now for that sort of thing. We just have to get the legislation to back it up. And nobody is willing to touch it. I'm in unchartered territory but I seem to fit in those types of places fairly well these days. ;)
