Seeing as this is the only forum that I could actually post in, being as I am not a vB licence holder and am a new member, here goes.

How would one go about contacting the author of a hack to discuss potential exploitation of said hack? I ask this because I found a XSS vulnerability in a commonly used vB hack that's posted here, but am unable to contact the author via private message or even a forum post as both of those avenues are disabled for me.

unfortunatly, i can't do that either.

What hack is it? And how did you obtain the said hack without owning a vB license or being listed on someones? Or did you find the exploitation just through a forum that installed it?
