Parsing BBCode - vBulletin 3.5 beta 3

What would I need to do in order to parse BBCode with vBulletin 3.5 beta 3? I am trying to include the class_bbcode.php within my files and call the function, but it just does not seem to be working.

Perhaps I am calling the wrong file or using the wrong function? Anyone care to shed some light on this?

I'd be greatful :).

You should consider upgrading to RC3 as it has many bug fixes included. As for your question see this thread: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=82693

I meant RC 3 not beta thread, typing too fast and not paying enough attention :).

Brad, should this not work or am I missing something as $news['pagetext'] does not appear when calling it via the templates.

PHP Code:

$getnews $db->query_read("
                SELECT thread.threadid, post.title, thread.replycount, postusername, postuserid, thread.dateline AS postdateline, thread.lastposter, thread.lastpost, thread.forumid, post.postid, pagetext, allowsmilie, forum.title AS forumtitle FROM "
TABLE_PREFIX "thread AS thread
                LEFT JOIN "
TABLE_PREFIX "forum AS forum USING (forumid)
                LEFT JOIN "
TABLE_PREFIX "post AS post ON (post.postid = thread.firstpostid)
                WHERE forum.forumid IN('19')
                LIMIT 3
        "
);

        while (
$news $db->fetch_array($getnews))
        {

$parser =& new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletinfetch_tag_list());

$news['pagetext'] = $parser->do_parse($news['pagetext'], $do_html$do_smilies$do_bbcode$do_imgcode$do_nl2br$cachable);

            eval(
'$blogbit .= "' fetch_template('zoom_blogbits') . '";');
        }
