Hmm, I don't see any Advantage over putting the HTML directly into Templates FORUMHOME/FORUMDISPLAY?
Anyway, I'd suggest to make it at least hassle-free by using a Product (see attached File). This would cut down the Instructions to - Import Product XML - Make the 2 Template Edits |
WOW - thanks.... waited for that one ;)
|
I just don't get it. The annoucement feature is already available in vB so why make thsi hack again?
|
To allow for more precise control of announcements, maybe?

Ok, I'm lost here. What will this do that isn't already done with the Announcements in RC 3?
|
It displays somewhat like this
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=64189 And boofo, take a look at my threads in the php/html/etc FORUM! no one has been able to help me and i have a huge headache! |
This is probably me being a little teeny bit moronic but... where do you write the message to display in the announcement?
I've tried the built in announcement tool but that just posts a standard issue announcement. |
I'm not installing till there's a screen shot or a demo please.
