Linking to an outside server

Ok I run a Remix message board. We got a second host with 80gigs of storage where we plan on letting users ftp their music.

We will link the songs from the message board.

Heres the problem:

1. I want it so only reg. users can download the songs. However, how does one pass our user sessions over to another server.

2. Is it possible to use javascript to call the downloads so a direct link cannot be seen.???? If so anyone know where to get it from???
