Trying to Install Apache (Windows XP)

Hello everyone.

I am trying to install Apache, then PHP followed by MySQL so I run vBulletin on my computer but I am bit confused since I tried to download Apache. So to cut a long thread short, I went to http://apache.towardex.com/.

I don't get what to download from there, and when I need to put it. Any help, please :ermm:

You could always install Appserv which does it all for you in 1 simple installer and runs perfectly on XP..:)

Try Xammp or whatever. It's free, and installs Apache, Mysql, and php along with other goodies. Google it!

http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php

Fairly easy to install and run, everything can be controled from the task bar and it comes with phpmyadmin by default :)

So does Xammp :p

Xammp also has the ability to switch from PHP 4 to PHP 5 in an instant!

Yes, it really is a great program. And currently vbtailors is in development. Actually, I haven't even begun to develop it. But prepare for some great suprises later this year. ;)
