domain idea?
 

hey guys am thinking of opening a completly general forum where you can discuss absolutly anything from cloths to ipods to televisions

anyone got any ideas on a domain name i could get?

My recommendation: Don't. There are so many as it is, you'll be in for a tough time getting members.

if everyone didnt bother cos there was too many vb wouldnt get any new biz :)

There are heaps of ideas still not covered by vB forums, just think hard. Maybe a passion/hobby of yours that you could make a forum from?

i liked mobile phones but that is a tough subject nowadays on the net , there is no interet in mobile forums anymore

I run a general discussion board about anything also. I just hate the idea of just covering one area only.

I like the idea of being able to create board to basicly cover anything as when need be.

You might 'hate' the idea, but believe me, there are too many people doing that, and not enough members to cater the thousands of general discussion forums. And even so, you can always put a general chat forum on your board to cover that stuff, you don't need seperate forums for everything.

Exactly - vB.org has a genre, vBulletin modifications, yet we have "The Lounge" where we can discuss almost anything :)
