php echo ip question
php echo ip question:
I'm trying to make a php script that will take an a specified URL/Domain and then ping it, then echo the result as an ip on my page or vb template block, so members can see the page. I'm note sure ever to look in the php manual, can anyone help? Having a brain fart with this. |

You can't ping a URL or a Domain, no matter what.

thanks, trying to figour our a way to show my users when the ip changes and have it result on the page. Not sure the best way to show it ...
