How to Add a Hack?
 

is there a page/forum/thread where this is entered? i am looking for the page setup, so where it produces this type of page.

i need functionality to have a summary page like this, but i cannot find for the life of me on vbulletin.org, where to submit a hack.

Do you want to submit (eg. release) a Welcome Panel Hack or do you search a Welcome Panel Hack?
And for which vBulletin Version?

He just wants to know how to submit a hack to vb.org so that it looks like that setup.

If you have your own hack to sumbit, just make a new thread in the proper forum. :)

When you submit a hack in the appropriate forum, it will always have that setup. :)

doesn't matter what version :)....i am looking to have a hack built to incorporate my users uploading request for proposals which are normally attachments...they can pre-fill out form that is somewhat like the output of the hack page.

so when someone submits a hack, they just start a new thread and the mods/admin put this page up? or is their a page to fill out? simple question.

vborg usually has an informal policy of not installing other people's hacks, and making their own hacks and not releasing them :-p such is the hack system here. so i dont expect you to really have much luck getting someone to cough it up for you. Nothing is stopping you from trying to code your own version for your own use, or finding someone who is willing.

i am not looking to take a hack and posting such here would be quite foolish :)

its very simple, i just wanted to know the url of the page that a coder fills out to submit a hack... its obvious there isnt a page like this to result in this page above that summarizes a hack.

There is.

All you have to do is to just create a NEW thread in the appropiate forum, then it'll be just like all the other hack threads.

You create modification threads like any other thread :).

If you create a new thread in a release forum you are presented with a few extra options on newthread.php (vb version drop down for example). Image attachments become screenshots and file attachments are considered to be hacks and listed in the download box.

To edit your hacks version click on the edit modification link in the first post of the hack thread.
