PM Search plugin?
 

Hi,

Has anyone brought out anything like this? <G> Basically, we will be upgrading to 3.5 Gold (when it comes out), so I'm taking a look around now for stuff we could do with <G>

Our users have been asking for a way to search their PM's. I've also thought about adding this in previously, but my PHP knowledge is not very good (I wrote a "plugin" for another forum a while back, but that was in Perl :rolleyes: ).

Any suggestions/ideas are much appreciated.

Like I say.. I'm just "enquiring" at the moment.. we can't go 3.5 until a stable version is out, due to the size (30,000 [10,000~ active daily] members, and 2.2 > million posts <G>

10.000 active daily is much ... we've got like 31K Users, but only ~ 2.5K active daily.

Kirby, by the time you are ready to start on this, give me a pm. I might be working on something similar then.

(Working on a modular PM Workbench, with loads of PM features. Currently the search/read pm;s for amdins is finished and is running beta on a busy site. Highly optimized for performance on bigger sites)

Any progress on this? Would be nice to have something like this.

I have been working on it on 3.5.0RC2 but it required a lot of editing then. I didn't have the time to finish it then and i decided to wait for gold to continue. Didn't have the time since then.
