Stupid question
I know this may sound like a stupid question, but what is the differences between:
your forum root and your forums directory thanks in advance........hotwheels |
Your forum root is where the index.php is located. The forum directory is the directory path where the forum's data will be stored on the server.

Nice try Ike. ;)
Forum's Root and Forums Directory should be the same thing. ;) But there are those that will say the forums root is the directory ABOVE the forums directory. yoursite.com = forums root yoursite.com/forums = forums directory So it all depends on who you are talking to at them time, I guess. |
I tend to use 'forum root' in my installation .txt's. Personaly I am refering to the directory showthread.php is in (in most cases yourdomain.com/forum/)
