Two ints and a Float are in a bar. They spot an attractive Double on her own. The first int walks up to her. "Hey, baby", he says, "my VM or yours". She slaps him and he walks back dejected. The second int walks over. "Hey, cute-stuff, can I cook your Beans for breakfast". After a quick slapping, he too walks back. The Float then ambles over casually. "Were those two primitive types bothering you?", he remarks. "Yes. I'm so glad you're here", she says. "They just had no Class!"

someone explain :o since when does a float/double have a class and an int don't?

in my opinion the joke would've worked so much better with int => functions, float => method and double => variable.

Int is a 'simple' type. A float is a sub-class of an int, although this can vary among language used.

You're ruining it by getting to technical. :p. I thought it was funny; but I know about this much about php--> ||.

It's funny because PHP can't support half the stuff the joke requires.

The sad thing is that we were not discussing the hilarity of the geek joke but dissecting its validity. That is true geekiness.
