Parking A Domain
How exactly does this work?
Would it make it so that www.site2.com/forums will show what displays in www.site1.com/forums And still have www.site2.com/forums at the top of the browser? Or will it make it so that www.site2.com/forums will redirect to www.site1.com/forums ? |
Top one :D
I know because I've just done it ROFL |
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D
So the only thing that they share is the files? THERE IS NO REDIRECTION!!!!??!? and if u type in www.site2.com it stays at www.site2.com ? |
Just like to point out, that I think parking a domain is selfish :)
|
Lol why is that?
|
Someone else could be putting the domain to good use.
|
Well the reason I've just done it is because my partner had a site, but the domain name he used doesn't reflect what the site is turning into so he needed a new domain name... he's bought that and I've parked the new one to direct to the same place as the old one :)
