CommunityForums.Net - Revived

After closing down several months ago - I got bored and decided to reopen my site solo this time. I just got the main stuff up today - what do you all think?

Comments, suggestions, ideas all appreciated.

Heck, join while you're at it :)

Needs a custom style rather than a pre-made one. Adds individuality to your forums. :)

Can't really comment on anything else.

Yeah, I know it does - but I wanted it to get back up ASAP so I just went ahead and did it that way. I am currently working on a custom one, just takes time, no? lol

It does take time. ;) Will help with the revival too.

The way to you have two sidebars on your portal looks very unorginised. Best to make it one instead of two.

Also better to rename the 'Home' link in the header of the portal to 'Forums'

As for the style, it's nice and clean. :)

I vaguely remember your old skin but I reckon it looks much better now. Oh and I also got a bit lost when trying to find your forums so yeh I would take Tony G's advice.

Alright, I am going to do that right now.

I wanted to just use vB CMPS's Menu, but I couldn't find something to help me integrate it througout the site. If you know how to do that, then I will most definately look into that, as I really only want one menu. Besides, right now it's just on the home page, the rest is just the one nav.

Tony G 08-10-2005 11:05 AM

The home page is the first page your visitors see, so you have to fix it up in my opinion. :)

How about that, does that look a tad bit better?
