Is there a spellchecker mod?

Is there already a mod that spellchecks posts for ANY version of vbulletin? With the new AJAX technology, I think it would be possible to spellcheck WHILE writing the post - or at least without reloading the page. I would consider writing one if it hasnt been done already.

its in the IE form of the wysiwyg editor but it hasnt been made for firefox yet(for 3.5)

You can check vB Spell. It does not require reloading the page, it launches a popup window and copies back the correction to the text box.

thats a well done mod, so good work tamarian. however, I was looking for something that works a little more like the gmail spellchecker. I think I may just make one. Once ecDownloads 3.1c is released I will work on this.

Ah, I see what you mean, more like an inline/AJAX spell-checker. Check this one out, if you haven't seen it yet:

OK, whoever moved this should remove it back into discussion. No one is requesting that a mod be made, we are discussing the possibility of making a new mod for vBulletin.

Tamarian: I think I will use that. Ok... its time for me to start work on this.

Use the report link, to make sure a mod knows :)

There are many of us who no longer user IE or Windows, but would love to have a spell checker without using some tool bar from Google or Yahoo. **hint hint** ;)
