I don't think you should require people to register to view posts.
Go over your spelling. sponcer
I really shouldn't talk since my 2 boards are default styles but. . .
I like the navbar to be consistent. First word in caps.. Not some upper case, some lower.
I like a site nav block in the upper left.
I also would limit the size of your avatar.

Don't like the scheme, it's a bit hard on the eyes. That might just be because I'm not usually a fan of dark styles. ;) It's mainly the marrone against the black that's causing the problem.

good luck getting members to join...

personally, i will never visit a site that forces registration to view post -- that pisses me off.. i just hit the back button and never return to the site,. especially when you have to register to view the forums! people like to see the type of community before joining. some will lurk for a while before they feel comfortable in joining.. the proper way to make a site where people never visit is to do exactly what your doing..

thats my 2 cents.

Took forever to load on a 7m Cable line.. Is your server always this slow?

Out of curiosity.. What is your forum for? Topic wise. Hard to tell..

You'll have to make the concept of your forum a bit more obvious so that people don't second guess it. :)

At first, I was trying to figure out whether it was a metal head forum or horror movie forum.

Definitely needs to change the skin... Or the content.

Even then, why do people always have to replacve the macros with random animated stock gifs from Angelfire?

Graphic placement is an art. What the hell is going through people's heads when they add http://myredspider.net/home/images/icons/book1.gif for a poost icon?
