Not sure I understand, what's the difference between what you are suggesting and banning the user for some time or permanently?

15 points not the maxmum of warnings was set, the max was set 20 points for banned account. when user warned by 15 points, they can still have full access of forums, but except reading/access the post only. hope you understand what I am try to explanation.

besides, this is very great hack you made. very useful.

I am trying to understand what you mean. So there is a limit, after which the member has access to the site, but he can't read the posts? He can still see the forums, subforums and threads, but not the posts?

Is that what you have in mind?

I am not sure if that is worth the effort. Why not ban him all together?

One of my moderator request for this. :(
Yes, you are right, possibly do in this way, set it only not access for few fourms. example: Forum 2,5,7 they can't read/access the posts.

Thanks.

Sorry this is too complicated. It requires a new limit, then a list of forums which they will not be able to access, and then there should be checks in forumdisplay etc.

I think it's better for me to work on the vB 3.5 release of AWS instead of this.

just wonder, it still has chance add this feature for vb3.0.8.
Thanks in advice.

Sorry, I do not think so.
