Profile site contributions
 

I think it would be a GREAT idea for vbulletin.org to have in the same way the hacks are listed ( in your profile ) to also have a site contribution list. For instance, alot of members have posted things that help the community MORE than hacks, but they dont get credit for it in there profile ect, take this thread by Gary How to create your own vBulletin-powered page!
If that had an install page it would be ridiculous how many people used it :ninja:.
or the Enable FullText Searching in vBulletin 3.0.2/3 by zachery

All these are GREAT site contributions and I believe should be listed just like a hack..I mean this is just the opinion of poor little ol me :-D. But I think people will like it and it will give much needed credit to the authors ( they should not earn coder tags for this though )

Hmm sounds not bad. We are working on creating a new Hack Database and maybe we can incorporate something like that.

The howto's would be ideal for this.

Yea, thats exactly what I was thinking, because soo many people contribute to the community, but there just not ready to "Hack" things yet.

Does anyone else like this idea at all?

Read marcos reply, maybe with the new hack db we can honor these users more :)
