Is there such a hack?

Is there such a hack, where a user is required to read an announcement for example, before entering a forum?

I kinda need it.

YEs, do a search for 'rules' in the release forums.

Ya I saw those rules hacks, but there not quite what I want. I want the user to read the announcements that are made via the CP.

However it looks like Im gonna have to deal with it..
