Sit On The Fence!

Well, the term 'sit on the fence' is something of a UK colloquialism as far as I know, though I might be wrong :p It's a term generally applied to politics, where 'sit on the fence' means remaining neutral, in the centre and all that jazz, so it makes a nice title for our site, which is indeed about politics and current affairs.

Though our main target is to create lots of content, from articles to podcasts and interactive questionaires, we thought we'd get the forum up and running first and start some community building in advance.

I'd love to hear what you think, just a basic style really, but feedback on the colourscheme and such would be nice.

We're using vB 3.5 and vBa 2.0 for the time being. I've had fun creating custom modules on vBa, the scrolling RSS News Feed was a real struggle but we got there in the end, it worked everywhere execpt in IE, which was typical. I think it's fixed now though. Thanks!

I like it. The only thing I would suggest is a link to the forum index on the navbar. There is nothing wrong with a little redundancy.

Yeah I cant really think of anything else that I would change other then that. I like the theme, it seems to be very relaxing to me, which is needed when talking about politics.

Yeah, our previous theme was a stark contrast of reds, yellows and grey... I think something a little lighter on the eyes was needed, indeed.

Cheers :D

Now the other site for star trek could use some work.

I was wondering when you were getting around to pim... advertising your site. :D
