profile_rewrite :P lol
Sup guys and gals, I am looking for the way to make profiles go to www.url.com/username instead of the userid. How is this done? I am sure there is some way :).
Thanks ~B-I-Double G-Curt :) |
Yes, rewrite the Requests to member.php?username=<arg>
But wouldnt that still be www.url.com/forum/member.php?username=arg
This one is a released mod in the 3.0 section.

Awesome marco, thanks a billion. Would have never looked in mini mod :-D. Now if I install this, will in interfere with mod_rewrite ( if I install it )?
Dunno, not looked into the hack, you might want to ask in that thread. I guess it will depend on what you already have in your mod_rewrite.
K, awesome marco, thanks to both of you :).
