Looking for a hack
 

I was here browsing some time ago and I remember reading about a hack which would allow you to setup subforums with different colors and layouts than the main forum and integrated some options in the admincp to facilitate this. Can anyone help me find this? I've searched a bit and haven't been able to locate it myself.

You can already set a different style for a forum using the standard vB forum settings.

this hack seemed to creates multiple forum homes or something, each which could be customized via the admin cp. I remember there was some discussion about whether or not is was against the license agreement, but it was concluded to still be ok.

the hack which allowed the forum admin to make boards within their board... I think it was concluded it wasn't ok after much discussion.

but after reading through it all I found there was never an official decision on it.

Is there any other hack which would allow moderators to have customizeable subforums (banners, images, styles, etc) and to allow them to ban users from those subforums but not the whole board itself?
