Text Lettering Conversion?

I haven't seen it anywhere and not sure if it's even available for general document or even vb useage, but I'm wondering if anyone know if it's possible to convert text from Capital letters to Small letters or Proper grammar please?

I have tried it in Word & Excel with no luck and haven't seen it even as a stand alone program.

If someone was to post all their text in capitols, basically yelling, I want to be able to copy/paste that and convert it gramatically down to proper punctuation etc.

Anyone have any hints please?

Thank you..:)

Changing uppercase to lower case is easy. Many text editors can do it, so you can cut and paste into the text editor, then convert. It can also be done easily with PHP's strtolower function.

The grammer and punctuation part is the hard part. Doing it from scratch is a large project. But some word processors do have the capability. I used a program called Gammatica long time ago that plugs into word processors and does decent grammar check.

But if you mean just changing the capitalization to the beginning of the sentence, that should be easy.

I'm not sure. Many text editors just give you the tools to change to all upper case, or all lower case. It's possible that some will observe the first word in a sentence, but not sure which ones do.
