ssl - need to move login script to ssl dir
 

I want to allow my users to log in using SSL encryption.
The problem is, that my host only allows SSL from one directory called "ssl".. I will need to move my login script to this directory "/ssl/" while leaving the rest of the board in its current directory "/www/vb/"..

please note, that the "/www/" directory is the public internet directory, and the "/ssl/" the secure directory.. "/" is the root and is inaccessable to the public..

i've tried copying the script and replacing the URL's but that does not seem to work.

how would you handle the task of moving the login script?

I am not sure, but couldn't you solve this with Operating System links?

if i could just figure out how the login script works, i could create a new script..
all i need to know is what to insert in the SQL DB and what to data to store in the cookie ..
