Ok, thought I may as well post me board up for critique .. Using skin from aqua forums (gotta say some very nice work from the guy to made the skin) and have quite a few hacks installed that i`ve seen around.. Trying to build up the member base. Although mainly around general chat at the moment will be trying to incorporate more of the DJ based stuff once the board kicks off a little more. Hoping to be streaming a shoutcast show from there with live mixes from DJ Janos (not me by the way, I just build the board, never have been good with the decks lol)...

Anyways, any constructive critisism welcome from peeps with established boards.

Hey I like it. The only thing I can give criticism to right away is the shadow way on the bottom, it extends a little further than the rest.

I just don't like the logo at the top and the "it appears u have not yet registered.....", i think itll look alot better if you had the content as much to the top as possible.

-Statistics and Shoutbox should go under the forum list. Statistics isn't that important, and shoutbox deters posting. It also makes you have to scroll just to get to the beggining few forums on your forum list.
-The registered community thing should be right at the top IMO, would look better and be less annoying.

Looks very clean. Easy to read. I see you are thinking of shoutcasting. :squareeyed:

Thanks for the opinions guys .... will be upgrading to V3.5 once it goes gold and the arcade hack is released, so not gonna do to much till then....

@Tony - I`m actually very glad you said that as I was comtemplating the same kinda thing, but was in 2 minds whether to go ahead and move em ... Your reasoning just made my mind up :)

@gio - Working on a logo at the moment. Or should I say more of a badge than a logo so`s I can get rid of the 'banner' type logo altogether...

@albn - Ya know I never noticed the shadow till you said it ... cheers will sort that LOL

@Harry - Will be using that hack once the stream is running .. Will you be re-releasing for 3.5? Glad you pointed out the validation errors. Could do with gettin that sorted

I really don't see anything to critique. You've used a skin without modifying it and you've installed some hacks. This is a good looking board, with very little real customisation that makes it unique. The DJJANOS.CO.UK graphic at the top throws the whole look off since it doesn't fit with the rest of the board, but otherwise, it's very clean looking.
