Username Markup Displayed Everywhere

I'd like this to be displayed on the index page in the last post by field, along with the forumdisplay page. I know it's possible, I just don't know how.

Just replace username by musername on those locations in your templates.

But is there a way to change this phrase so that it the $musername option use
