Make each style a little image
 

It would be nice to be able to see a small version of each style on a page, instead of just the name of it. This would help when we get more styles on the site. Kind of like the image gallery on ebay (what it would look like).

Um I don't understand, where would this image go? Do you mean under the posting info where it has "Style: X"?

I believe he is referring to the style selection box at the base of the page, and would like instead a thumbnail view of how the page will look in each style...

I imagine this would be somewhat server intensive if generated every page, and also wouldn't fit in with the styling of the board very well :ermm:

well on the normal stylebox in the usercp it would be a nice thing, but not really needed.

i'd suggest it to the devs, maybe for a future version of vb :)

What I am talking baout is basically someone releases a new style on vb.org When you would click the thread to view the styles posts you woul d have an option to click and see a thumbnail of all the different ones released, so you could browse them faster. When there are more (like 100) it would be hard to see them without going through every post, and you would have to open the image as well. Then if you wanted to compare, you would have to look for them again, I just thought it would be nice, to see multiple styles on one page.

hmm, maybe with our new Hack DB we could add such a feature in the future.

you could create a 4image gallery and put the screen shot of the style and a link to the thread to download it.
