You have nested tables and an image heavy design, its going to be atad slow.

It's namely the tables with the heavy images that load quite slow. Your header loads slow because it's basically all images, while the rest of your forum loads a bit slow but nothing to complain about.

There's really nothing you can do unless you remove images which I don't see you wanting to do.

How many queries does your main page have? Turn on debug in the admincp to take a look. Same for the showthread.
