Do you think it would be possible to flag threads that a certain usergroup had posted in ?

We have a game site, where it would be really handy if when the user logged on, they could see (either through another icon, or some text) which threads an 'official' developer had posted in ?

Try using usergroup specific post icons.

That would only work if that user was the thread creator, wouldn't it ?
If the usergroup make a post in the thread, and choose a usergroup specific icon, it wouldn't overwrite whatever icon was used in the creation of the thread ?
