Installation Problem - Functions.php
 
I am continually being presented with the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/slidmai6/public_html/includes/functions.php on line 2024

I have input all the other code up to stage 4 and when i overwrite the new function.php with the old one it works. I have also read you FAQ's about this error, however it is not a problem in Dreamweaver as i have unchecked the 3 boxes and have also edited it in notepad and wordpad and it still does not work.

Any ideas?

Just make sure you do the functions.php edit correctly. You might not be copying all of the needed code.

Yes, i have done it about 6 times now but still no success.
