Data APIs

Strangely, I have no 3.5 documentation. I think either it's not included in the download or maybe I'm just a dunderhead... but I read about the Data APIs and it seems like what I need. Where do I find documentation on them? I'd rather not flood the forum with questions every step along the way.

The Files are phpDoc'ed, other documentation does not yet exist.
There are also HowTos for some of the Datamanagers.

I've never gotten phpDoc to cooperate, myself.
