Modifying an old EQ raid script for vBulletin
 

I run a gaming guild and a while ago i posted a request for a vbJournal type addon or similia - well it seems ive found another script that is more suited to what i need at:

EQDKP

Basically this script allows you to create events and allocate raid points to individuals attending those events which can be used to roll for ingame loot when something drops of a monster that you like/need.

Here is a fine example of a WoW guild on my server that is using it:

It seems to be a fairly simple script but of course it requires its own user database for registration/use.

Is it possible that some extremely nice coder out there, would be able to create a little hack/addon to intergrate vbulletins user database, so users only have to register once - for both the site and the raid system?.

I realise this is probably A LOT more complicated than it sounds involving usergroup permissions etc...

If this was to be a paid hack, anyone have any idea what something like that might be worth.

You'll notice that in the knowledge base forum on the main eqdkp site, people have requested similiar functionality for phpbb and postnuke etc...which hasnt seemed to have gone anywhere..

VBjournal has been patched and a new updated zip is available again. Check it out as it may likely meet your needs.

I don't understand what VBjournal would have to do with this?

Just bumping this up because I'm looking for the same thing.. maybe some new interest? :)
