Will there ever be a fix for the IE issue?

I am experiencing the IE issue on my site, which only has one style installed.

Users trying to open chat in IE only get a long, blank page, followed by cannot be displayed.. Firefox opens the chat just fine.

There has got to be a way to fix this...
