forum specific flood control

I would love a plug in that would allow me to set different times between posts from the same IP for different forums on my site.

Example: Relevant Forum= default time of 30 seconds between posts
Spammy chit chat Forum= custom time of 3 minutes between posts

If anyone wants to tackle that, you would be my new bestest friend. :)

you could just add a $flood_control = array(1 => 30, 2 => 10) to a plugin and check the last post date... i looked for the hook but didnt find a good one. not sure why you are saying its only possible with code modification.

I was afraid it might. I am not opposed to that but I was looking forward to having a hack free easily upgradable install for once.
