Members don't have points! Help!
 

As admin, I am accumulating points, but my members aren't. Can anyone help? I've been browsing this board for 3 hours to no avail.

What version of uCS are you using? 0.95b
What is the exact error you recieve? Members are not accumulating points, but admin is
Where does the supposed error happen? everywhere

After checking EVERY file over again I finally realized that points weren't accumulating for my members because I didn't realize that they don't get points for Quick Replies. Anyone have a solution to this? I will look around for it- that or disable quick reply

Thats just not true... we've had it working fine for ages, I think alot of people would have whined and yelled if it didn't work for the quick reply.

Check your edits, and make sure your forums have valid numbers for points per thread / post / view

Actually, I just realized it's not just for quick reply. It only seems to be accumulating totals for thread views and "full" replies- it also isn's working for New Threads

Thanks, I took your suggestion and looked over the files again. Apparently I failed to upload the edited version of functions_newpost.php. So if anyone else has this problem, maybe you could let them know that functions_newpost.php is the file most likely responsible so they don't waste time going over several files unnecessarily. Thanks.

One other thing,while I realize you may be an expert at setting up vb hacks, many of us are novices and need a little more sympathy and less being accused of lying. I do, however, appreciate your support and can see you have been very helpful to many. So thank you, I hope you won't take this personally.
