If I install a new skin will it overwrite all the hacks on the old skin and I will have to install them on the new skin as well?

Yes, you'll most likely have to reinstall any template edits on the new skin.

It won't change anything on your old skin though.

Will that include forum titles and stuff? Or just anything I have installed?

Also, if I install a new skin can I delete the default one?

You can delete the default skin, or just make it not selectable, whatever you like.

This will not influence the forum titles, as those aren't controlled by the style.
Look in the Style Manager to find out what is controlled with styles.

Just looking at the hack options and they have 'install' buttons and 'install this modification', what does that do exactly?

Also, will things in the 'vb3.5 modifications' and 'vB3 modifications' section work on my 3.07 board?
