Caching Phrase Groups
I am running into an odd phrase-related problem that I can't quite nail down. I've created a new group of phrases, and I want to pre-cache them for a Control Panel page.
Thus, I have changed the $phrasegroups section of the file from this: // #################### PRE-CACHE TEMPLATES AND DATA ###################### $phrasegroups = array('cpuser'); To this: // #################### PRE-CACHE TEMPLATES AND DATA ###################### $phrasegroups = array('mygroup', 'cpuser'); However, once that has been done, if I go back and attempt to access that page, it produces the following SQL error: Code:

Hmm, I don't see why simply adding a phrasegroup would cause that error, though I cannot see your code, so I'd guess that somewhere in your code, you are inadvertently wiping the $bbuserinfo['userid'] variable.

Yea, I actually just realized what I had forgotten to do (although I still can't figure out why it would wipe that user variable, that's just odd).
I had neglected to create a phrasegroup_mygroup field in the language table. Thus, when I added 'mygroup' to the phrasegroup cache, it couldn't actually do any caching since the field didn't exist. Now why that produced the error it did, I really have no clue. Anyway, once I created the proper field, using a query like this: Code:
ALTER TABLE language ADD phrasegroup_mygroup MEDIUMTEXT NOT NULL DEFAULT '' AFTER phrasegroup_messaging; |
