A bit of a tricky question
Okay I recently have been getting junk emails on my site admin account. I knw that I have never signed up at another site with this account where they would sell it. The problem is that I am getting emails that I believe came from someone looking it up on my own forum. I have made it so that users can't just see each others emails, but actually fill out a form and it is sent as an email. But my quesition is , does the email still display in the html? Where someone could use a software to pull it out or hand look it up?
I don't want spam to become a problem for my members. Any tips or hits? |
It's a growing problem.. :(
I get approximately 50 spam e-mails per week, if not more sent to my gamerseuphoria.com domain. You could try enabling Spam Assassin if you have that in your cPanel. I did the same a couple of days ago.. |
nope, the real email isn't stored within the html form
it's fetched in the script after a submit. |
