whats the name of the hack that keeps post in the position they were posted by date, instead of moving each new reply

Can you explain what you want? Posts are sorted by date by default.

well each time someone makes a new post to the topic it moves it to the top, i want it to stay where it was, like if i have something 2months old and someone replies to it, i dont want it moving to the first page at the top, i want it on the 2nd page or whereever it was

You've got your posts sorting set to newest frist, check your user cp options.

As far as I know, there are no hacks to change this behavior.

so basically everytime someone makes a new reply to a post whether its 1 day old or 1month old its going to be the first on the list?
