How is attack damage calculated?
I was hoping someone would be able to clear this up for me.
How is attack damage calculated (exactly or roughly)? Also, what determines whether the attacker will hit or not? Is it based solely on speed and evasion, or does it also have something to do with defense or maybe items that are equipped? Through some testing, I'm inclined to believe that it actually isn't only speed and evasion. Basically what I'm asking is how all of the stats actually influence the outcome of a battle. Does anyone know? |
Yup, definetely need to add this to the Admin Manual (God that manual is a mess XD).
It's too damn much to type out, I suggest you take a look at battleupdate.php to find all calculations. The variable names are descriptive enough for them to make sense. |

There's a severe lack of comments and I don't even understand PHP. At least I now know where to look. Thanks :) |
