cpanel question...
Hi, I'd like to change my cpanel password, I'm assuming that if I do this I'd need to change the value in my config.php file to reflect this change to prevent a mysql error...is this correct?...Also I have vBadvanced CMPS, Gallery, Links and an Arcade installed so is there any other values I need to change anywhere to reflect this password change?
Thanks...Colin, all help greatly appreciated :) |
If you're effectively changing the password to the MySQL database your forum uses, then yes, you will need to change the password in config.php.

Hi Tony, no I'm only changing the cPanel password.

Then it shouldn't affect your MySQL pass. But I'm no expert with cpanel, so don't take my word for it.
